***Rainbow Ranch Field Trip Coming Soon

on Friday, May 11^th!!!

Our long awaited field trip will be in just 2 weeks on Friday, May 11^th to the Rainbow Ranch in Nashville and the New Baden Park!  It will be an all day field trip so your child will need to bring a disposable lunch and drink.  If you have your background check in and are joining us, you would need a lunch for that day, too.  We are all getting very excited and are REALLY hoping for beautiful weather!!!J  Please remember that any library dues for lost books, ESP fees and lunch money has to be paid in order for your child to be able to attend the field trip or any end of the year activities such as our Carnival coming up on May 24^th. 

***Money for our field trip is due this coming Thursday, May 3^rd along with all registration, book, ESP or cafeteria fees!  Thank you!J

***Timeline Family Projects for the month of May can be sent in whenever you are finished with them.  We can’t wait to see them!!!  Thanks so much for all of your hard work at home! They don’t have to be anything fancy, the kids just love to see the baby pictures!!!J 

***Just to let you know, the last day for checking out library books will be on May 11^th.

Our 5 baby caterpillars have grown into very LARGE caterpillars before our eyes and are getting very close to spinning their chrysalis!!!  It’s awesome to watch and the kids are amazed at their quick growth each day!J  

Next week we will be talking about farm animals.

       ***Just a reminder that tomorrow, April 25th is 2:00 Early Dismissal and kids can wear a hat for $1.00!!!  I'm sorry I forgot to add that to the newsletter so I wanted to make sure to let you all know.😉
       ***We are also in great need of class snacks.  Thanks so much for your help!😀

    ***Our May Last Family Project will be a Timeline of the Special Events in your child's life!!!💖  You can make a poster with pictures, string pictures together in a banner or any other way you would like to display all of the times that have been very important to your child!😉  The due date is May 2nd, but whenever you have them done, please send them to school for your child to share with us and I will display them in our classroom!  We can't wait to see all of the baby pictures!!!😊
       A HUGE THANKS to all of you for your AMAZING SUPPORT this year with all of the home projects each month!😍

I wanted to let you all know that we have 5 very small caterpillars arrived in our room today!  We are so excited to see them grow, then spin into their chrysalis and finally get to see them hatch into 5 gorgeous Painted Lady Butterflies!!!  What an awesome transformation they will get to watch take place in just 3 weeks!J  The kids are so excited so be sure to ask them about our new visitors!!!!!!J

***Just to let you know, May 11^th will be the last day we will be checking out library books.

***Just a reminder that all Jump Rope for Heart fundraising money needs to be turned in by next Friday, April 13^th   

***Rainbow Ranch Field Trip ***

Our long awaited field trip will be on Friday, May 11^th to the Rainbow Ranch in Nashville and the New Baden Park!  It will be an all day field trip so your child will need to bring a disposable lunch and drink.  Admission to the Rainbow Ranch is $6 for your child.  If you would like to join us, adult admission will be a little different and will be $8.  You will also need a lunch for that day.  We would love to have you come!!!J Please remember that library dues for lost books, lunch money and all fees have to be paid in order for your child to be able to attend or field trip or any end of the year activities such as the Carnival.  Just a reminder that the office can no longer accept checks.  Thank you!J

***Along with the district policy, THE ABSOLUTE LAST DAY TO TURN IN MONEY FOR OUR FIELD TRIP IS THURSDAY, MAY 3^RD OR YOU YOUR CHILD CANNOT COME WITH US!!!   Also, WE CAN ONLY ACCEPT CASH, MONEY ORDERS or REV TRAK PAYMENT for our field trip or any fees being paid.  (I just want to make sure that you all know about the early deadline because I would really hate for anyone to miss out on our special day!!!)

***We have a district policy that requires that all chaperones need to have a background check that will need to be finished and turned in a few days before attending the field trip, but we can not accept your money for the field trip until we have your paperwork. Thanks so much and hope you can join us!!!J

***Saturday, April 21^st is the WS Family Walk/Run 5K!!!  Call the office soon if you would like to register to come!  It’s a lot of fun!J
