***Our
Halloween Party will be coming up on Thursday, Oct. 31st from
1:30-2:30!
Our long awaited
Halloween Party is almost here! We would
love to have any of you who are able join us to come and help out! Thanks so much for helping make this such a
fun party for the kids, and also for your $10 donation for the classroom
parties! We couldn’t do it without you!J Our party will be from 1:30-2:30. We still have three parties coming up this
year for Christmas, Valentines, and End of the Year if you are unable to make
it to this one. We would love to have you here on Thursday! If you think you will be able to come and would
like to contact our room mom to help at the party, her name is Courtney Ham at Courtney.Ham29@gmail.com
or 618-975-1500. J Everyone is invited to join us for the
fun!!!J
***Just a reminder that we will not be wearing
costumes for our party and younger siblings
are not able to attend the parties, sorry.
***Just a reminder that
this next 9 weeks we have been working hard on color words. These were the first group of sight words
that I tested for the this progress report.
Here is a list of all of the sight words, or "POPCORN
WORDS", that we have learned so far:
a, and, come, I, is, like, me, see, the, we, with, and the color
words. Thank you so much for your
continued review and practice at home!
It makes such a huge difference!!!
Thanks
so much for everyone's support with our completing our family projects and the
letter of the week homework! The Family
Pumpkins that the kids have been bringing in have been fantastic!!! They are so excited to share them with their
friends and tell us how they were made!
I wish you could see their faces just beaming as they share their
pumpkins with everyone at school! It is neat to see how they are all so unique
and special to each child in their own way.J The kids love seeing all of the different ways you
can decorate them! Letter of the week
homework has been a huge hit at school, too, as they get to show and tell a
little more with their drawings and handwriting! They are all getting very good at standing up
in front of their friends and sharing!!!
***We are still collecting money in our classroom
for UNICEF through Halloween. It
will be donated to help the needy children around the world.
Thank you
for any donations that you can make!J
Next week we will be studying the letter Dd.
**Congratulations to this weeks’ “Star Students”
