We can’t wait to see all of the neat ideas!J

***Kindergarten
Grandparent Lunch will be on Friday, September 20th at 12:30.
Grandparents, aunts, uncles, or parents are invited to come
and eat lunch with
your child. Adults
will need to bring their own lunch, and you are also able to bring lunch for
your child if you would like. Try to
arrive about 15-20 minutes early just
to check in with the office and find out
where to go.J
It’s hard to believe, but we have already
touched on the letters Aa-Hh. Please be
practicing and reviewing these letters and their sounds at home because we will
continue to
do a new letter each day. We
are also practicing numbers 0-10, counting to 25, the 5 basic shapes and
writing our name the school way using one capital letter and the rest small
with each touching the top, middle and bottom lines, so please be practicing
these things at home also. Your practice
and re-enforcement at home with all of the skills makes such a big difference! J It is amazing how quickly progress reports
will be coming out in 9 weeks!
The kids are in their 2nd week of checking out
library books. Please be watching for them so their book will get put in a safe place at home. I hope your child has fun reading the ir
book! Please return it before our next
library day, which would be on Friday, so he/she will be able to check out
another one. Thanks!
**Star Student Awards have
also started this week! They are given
out to students for making good choices and following the 4 B’s which are Be
Safe, Be Caring, Be Respectful, and Be Responsible. They are very special
awards given out just every so often (to keep them specialJ) to congratulate the kids
for doing an exceptional job! I also
tell the kids that just getting a compliment and knowing they are doing the
right thing is also just as important and should make their hearts feel good!!!J
***Congratulations to this week’s “Star Students”
