***Reminder that your child can bring in his/her first
Family Project, the book treasure box, whenever it is finished! It is due on Friday, Sept. 13th. The ones that have come in already have been AMAZING!!!
We can’t wait to see the rest of them!!!J

11th, will be RED, WHITE & BLUE DAY!!!
***Kindergarten
Grandparent Lunch will be on Friday, September 20th at 12:30.
Grandparents, aunts, uncles, or parents are invited to come
and eat lunch with your child. Adults
will need to bring their own lunch, but you are also able to bring lunch for
your child if you would like. Try to
arrive about 15-20 minutes early just to check in with the office and find out
where to go.J
Remember
to be reviewing and practicing the letters and sounds that we have been studying
at school. So far we have gone over the
letters the letters Aa-Ll. Don’t forget
to practice the numbers at home also. I
will be checking the numbers 0-10 for recognition and we are trying to count to
at least 25. I will also be checking
shapes, colors, and making an AB pattern(ex. red, blue, red, blue…). The end of the first grading period is
Friday, Oct. 11th. As you
know, we have been trying to write our first names the school way now. Please try to help your child practice using
a capital letter first, and then all the rest of the letters are small. Progress reports will be coming up very soon
and parent teacher conferences are on Oct. 22nd and Oct. 24th. A conference sheet will be coming home in
your child’s folder next month so if you know which day or time would work best
for you, please let me know. You will
need to sign it and return it as soon as possible to make sure that time will
work for you. Thank You!
